Music

At the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Brazos Valley, music is an integral part of worship. On a given Sunday at our church services you might hear traditional or contemporary hymns, and the next Sunday the music might be jazz, pop, gospel, folk, or classical. Our church is blessed with many talented musicians, and they are generous in offering those talents to our appreciative congregation.

The adult choir rehearses each Thursday from 5:30-6:30pm. The choir provides special music for worship services approximately three Sundays per month. The choir also leads the congregational singing every Sunday morning. We welcome new choir members! It is not necessary to be able to read music. We ask only that choir members love to sing, are able to match pitch, and are open to a variety of musical experiences.

The children's choir rehearses Thursdays from 6:30pm-7pm during the months of September to May. The children's choir provides special music for worship services one Sunday per month during the school year. We welcome all children ages 6 to 12 to children's choir. A love of singing is the only requirement.
